Thursday 13: 13 spellings

I have a fairly “simple” name.  Emily.  When I make calls, more often now I get asked how to spell it.  Here’s 13 ways to spell Emily.

  3. Wow, what a lot of ways to spell Emily. No wonder you get asked how to spell your name. Until now, though, it never would have occurred to me to ask.

    • it wasn’t until recently that I even THOUGHT about it. I’ve never seen it spelled any other way than the way I spell mine. There are name that I ALWAYS ask how to spell (Chris & Carrie for example)

  8. I love the name Emily! When my daughter-in-law was pregnant for the first time, she was going to name the baby EmmaLeigh if it was a girl. Instead it was my little grandson, Payton. 🙂

    Who knew there were so many ways to spell Emily?!
