F F Friday (13)

Wow 13 weeks!!  It’s time again for Fucking Floral Friday with Saintseester and Fighting Windmills has joined me as well!

We were doing our nightly walk meandering around the block and I saw these HUGE white flowers.  I knew I had to take pictures of them for F F Friday.  I should have tried to take a picture of it with my hand in the shot for size.  I’m not sure if you can see the fence post?  Maybe that will give you an idea…

Anyway, Wednesday was Little Man’s last free day before his first full day of school.  We kept him busy.  🙂

After we dropped Baby Girl off at school, we came home to get things ready for his 45 minute day at school.  He didn’t ride the bus at all, it wasn’t an option for the Kindergartners.  He met the teacher and did a little scavenger hunt to put his supplies away.

After his orientation, we dropped Daddy off at the house (we had roofers there tearing off) and we headed to the eye glasses place to get his frames adjusted.  We then went to the gym to shoot hoops.  They have a little area for the under 8 crowd that have shorter hoops.

We ate lunch at McDonald’s (he had chocolate milk) and then got ready to go to park for some miniture golf and swimming.  Well… that was the plan, anyway.  Once I flashed our ID’s, the lady told us that the pool didn’t open until 4:00. D’oh!  Change in plans, sort of.  We did play our round of miniutre golf and headed back to the gym for some splash time at the pool.  We hung out in the baby pool.  He didn’t want to get in the big pool  ~sigh~

We left at 3:00 to pick up Daddy so he can pick up his car.  The car place was right around the corner from Baby Girl’s school, which was really convenient.  Little Man went with Daddy and I went to pick up Baby girl.  We hung around the house and played outside.  We had fun.

Thursday morning, He hopped on the bus and all was good.  No tears from neither him nor myself.  I didn’t get any pictures though.

  1. It’s kind of like Friday the thirteenth, here on your blog! 😀

That’s so nice that you all walk every night. That must be a great way to unwind. The flowers are beautiful!

  2. That is nice that you guys can walk (meander) together like that. With my kids, it always turns in to an argument. Sigh.

  3. It’s usually just a walk around the block and even THAT can take about 5-10 minutes if Baby Girl is walking or ride the big wheel! LOL!! We do that when it’s not raining outside too. 🙂

  4. Congrats to Little Man on his first day of Kindergarten! (How is he that old already?)

I haven’t figured that part out myself yet. ~Sigh~ Today I had to hold Baby Girl back. she wanted to get ont eh bus too! ~R

  5. I saw these flowers where we live today, only in pink. You are right! They are huge. Probably the size of four hands. How pretty!
