Garden box pictures

Finally!  These are the little sprouts as of May 9th.  Not quite a week after we planted them.

Here they are this morning, after our pea sized hail storm last night.  Notice how clumped they are together!  That was little man’s doing.  Oh well.  LOL

The time passed was not quite a week.  They are in Miracle grow garden soil, so I think that’s helped.

  1. Can you not move them a little, before the roots get in too deep? We wouldn’t want Little man to watch them die, would we?

I’ll have to see what I can do with them. 🙂 Maybe donate some to the rabbits. I guess that’s the advantage of having them up in the boxes. The rabbits don’t get them! Maybe next year we’ll have a little plot in the yard for them and then the rabbits can eat them free range and thin them for us. ~R

  2. Gonna havta thin those radishes when he’s not looking! 🙂 Might, maybe, maybe, be able to transplant, but most likely just sacrifice. Sometimes it’s the needs of the few that outweight the lives of the many. 😀

LOL!! I’ll have to do it while he’s at school. ~R

  3. We have the plants, we’re just waiting for the weather to warm up at night. Maybe this weekend we can get the rest of our raised garden done and then I’ll have pictures to share. 😉

  4. Nice plants! It’s way too hot here to have any 😦

  5. well, it looks like their doing quite well!! I kill every plant I’ve ever had. I have the opposite of a green thumb!

  6. I’m not much of a green thumb so I’m impressed! They look great after a pea bombing!!!!

  7. Those look good! Sorry I haven’t been around much. It’s been a hectic week. It’s calming down (sort of). We planted tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and strawberries and so far they are growing nicely. Our most recent addition was a peach tree last Saturday! 😀 They were rather inexpensive at Home Depot. I never thought I’d keep plants alive so well! LOL

  8. I, too, have a black thumb. But, I do have luck with basil. That’s about it.
