It’s Thursday again!!  Time for Thursday 13.  Thirteen jobs I have had in my life.

1. Babysitter
2. Cashier, at two grocery stories.
3. Bag lady.  When I started at a grocery store at college, they had me start as a bagger.  Bag lady just sounds funnier.
4. Restroom door opener.  At one of the retail stores I worked at, I worked in the lady’s department.  One of the duties involved watching for people who needed to go to the restroom and buzz them in.
5. Deli Clerk.  At two different grocery stores.  After I turned 18, of course.
6. Sales Associate. At a couple different retail stores.  One full time and the other seasonal.
7. Office Assistant.  This was at a small tax preparation place.  I would check the simple tax forms and prepare the clients copies.  This was also during college.  She mad many farmer and trucker clients.
8. Assistant Manager.  I worked as an assistant manager at a Fashion Bug in Ohio.  We were supposed to have three managers altogether, but there was only two of us.  it made for really long days.
9. Jewelry Department associate.  I worked in the Jewelry department for Monkey Wards while in Ohio.  The drive was a bit closer that Fashion Bug.  I had a base pay plus commission, which sucked when anybody returned anything.
10. Closer.  Both at a title company, going over the mortgage loan docs with the borrowers, and AT a mortgage company, preparing said documents for the borrower’s to sign.
11. Funder. At the mortgage company, we would have outside mortgage brokers prepare their own documents and would use our funds at closing.  I would check the documents to make sure they were correct before we could wire the funds to the title comapny.
12. Accounting Officer.  I’m not sure this is really the correct job title…
13. Compliance Officer.

1. ugh…  is it Thursday again already?
2. That means it’s FRIDAY tomorrow!
3. I signed up for another 5K.
4. The Jingle Bell Run for arthritis.

6. I’m running with a friend! 
7. It’s November 15th.
8. I ran a short route yesterday.
9. Less than 2 miles.
10. Got my seasonal flu shot yesterday afternoon.
11. My arm is SORE!!
12. I won’t be needing the H1N1 flu shot.

1. Catch up on reading the newspaper.  I haven’t read it since Saturday! (done!  10/21)
2. Two loads of laundry.  Folded AND put away. (done 10/21)
3. Unload the dishwasher.  (done 10/21)
4. Grocery shopping.  (done 10/21)
5. Scrapbook photos of my Gramma & Grampa.  (done 10/21)

Thursday 13

Thirteen things about last weekend.

1. Last weekend was a long weekend.
2. We left Friday after to drive 5 hours to Troy, OH to pick up the in-laws.
3. Saturday early AM (7:00 EDT) we left Troy, OH for Erie, PA for a wedding.
4. We had to wake the kids up super early.
5. We FINALLY bought battery’s for the headphones for the DVD player.
6. We arrived in Erie, PA around noon, so we ate lunch at Max & Erma’s.
7. It was near the hotel.
8. The wedding was beautiful & the reception was fun.
9. We met up with some of hubby’s friends after the reception.
10. Then we went to the parents of the grooms house.
11. The kids got to bed after 11:15 pm (EDT) and were really wound up.
12. Sunday morning (not too early) we headed back to Troy, OH.
13. We got back home Monday afternoon.  We stopped to see Gramma in the hospital.

I guess I could go on, but then it would be a Thursday 13 anymore!

Here’s my Thursday 13 list of things that have been done and things to do:

1. Done:  Run a 5K.  My first one ever.  36.28.8 (Saturday 9/26)
2. Done:  Four loads of laundry.  folded AND put away! (Wed 9/30)  That is a miracle.  Normally laundry just sits until I get tired of it.
3. Done:  Run the dishwasher AND put the dishes away! (Wed 9/30)
4. Done:  Changed the calender to a new month.  (Thur 10/1)
5. To do/Done: Run Little Man’s snacks to the school.  At this point it’s not done, but will be done at noon (10/1)
6. To do/Done:  Run to Meijer for Little Man’s vitamins.  (10/1)
7. To do:  Put away the summer clothes and haul out the fall/winter clothes.  For myself and the kids.  Hoping to get it done this weekend.
8. To do:  One more load of laundry.  Hopefully this evening after soccer practice
9. To do:  Divide up the meat and freeze it.  Must do today!
10. To do:  Get back in the habit of running again.  It was good training running the 5K and I somewhat actually enjoyed it!
11. To do:   Get back in the habit of regular exercise.
